A beer in which the malt flavor dominates. Its origins in a monk's recipe are reflected. The beer Pope Conrad Seidl describes it as follows : "Almost black, with very slightly reddish tone, a sensational , solid foam and a very unusual scent that reminds first to Grammelschmalz. The Antrunk is of mild fullness with an accompanying coffee shade, which is in Nachtrunk dominant. From the frequent case of double rams little sweetness is perceived."
Ayinger Celebrator was several times classified in the series of the best beers in the world and won numerous Platinum Medals.
