Due to a dry spring the seeds matured nicely, giving the wines great texture The flavors and aromas are a brilliant expression of varietal character, an expression I have rarely seen since the 1970’s and is a dramatic expression of Cabernet Sauvignon. 2011 Cannonball shows the silver lining of this unheralded vintage. This vintage was aged 15 months in French oak, 35% new oak.
