Yves Girardin, part of a very famous family of growers in Burgundy, owns this 1 hectare plot in the Sous la Roche vineyard located in the upper part of Santenay on an outcrop of chalky marl soil ideally suited to Chardonnay. Barrel-fermented and aged for 12 months in new oak barrels or pieces. A rare wine with great finesse and elegance
Famous vintner Jean Girardin began making wine in the region in the sixties, in 1981 he split some vineyards among his 4 children and Yves inherited 3 ha.
