The Macon Lugny place called "Les Charmes" is the flagship production of the Cave de Lugny and pride of its winemakers. The grapes come exclusively from a specific locality in the municipality of Lugny who comes in the form of a plateau of 105 hectares in clay and limestone. The orientation South / Southeast allows him to enjoy optimum sunshine. The average age of the vines is over 40 years, with the peculiarity that consists partly of Chardonnay plants called "musk" that give the wine its originality.
"Les Charmes" single vineyard boasts an exceptional exposure and very old vines, resulting in a wine of especially fine character and flavor. This wine is vinified and bottled at the nearby Cave de Lugny.
