Campo de Borja Borsao Red 2009 - A deep purple-color, it offers up a brooding bouquet of spicy black cherry and blackberry fruit with a hint of violets in the background. Sweet, long, and layered, this lengthy effort is an excellent value for drinking over the next 3 years. A surprisingly full bodied and finely textured wine, Borsao compliments a broad range of foods or can be enjoyed simply on its own.
Harvested from vineyards that lay under the watchful presence of the great Moncayo mountain, Borsao is a carefully chosen blend of 75% Garnacha and 25% Tempranillo. Each varietal is vinified separately to highlight the grape's richest colors and deepest flavors.
