This wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Each varietal has been aged in French barrels separately for one year, and an additional three-month period upon finalizing the blend.
It has an opaque dark color, with generous with generous aromas of black fruit, red fruit, raspberry and blueberry. The palate echoes fresh fruit scents, with a delicate and balanced texture and a pleasant acidity. This medium-bodied wine bursts forth at its finish, when it combines its balance with the highlighted fruit notes along with pleasant tannins. It pairs best with pasta and meat on the grill. Ageing for a few years will further enhance this quality wine.
Shiloh wines are produced in an ancient region located in the heart of the land of Israel, where vineyards stood thousands of years ago, as they do today.
